Between May and July 2011 four public exhibitions were held in Broadstairs, Margate, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross. According tot he details of the freedom of information request a total of £43,219.56 was spent on the consultation with a firm called Local Dialogue who actually carried out the consultation.

Local Dialogue were appointed in 2007 through what Thanet District Council describe as a competitive bidding process. There are currently no figures available to indicate the total spent on consultations over this time period.

The results of the consultation are yet to be announced.
